Things To Do Around Perthshire and Beyond

Extending from Strathmore in the east to Rannoch Moor and Ben Lui in the west and from the Pass of Drumochter in the north to Aberfoyle in the south, the County of Perth is one of the largest of the Scottish counties and has within it a wide diversity of landscape and activities.

With some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Scotland, many climbing to over 3000 ft, Perthshire is the ideal location for a walking or climbing holiday and Glen Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the mountains and glens with which Perthshire abounds.

However, Perthshire is not only about landscape and walking. It is also an ideal place for a huge range of pastimes and pursuits including golf, fishing, sailing, mountain biking, shooting, visiting historic castles and houses, shopping, site seeing or even just taking it easy and relaxing.
